Just the two of us

Mark has been a plumber for over forty years. He’s spent most of that time under houses and inside walls, so there isn’t much he hasn’t run into before.

We started Fair Deal Plumbing in 2018 and kept it small on purpose. Mark does every job himself. You won’t get a different technician every visit, and nobody’s going to knock on your door trying to sell you a service plan.

The name came from something Mark got tired of. People would tell him what another company had quoted them, usually for work they didn’t need. We decided that was never going to be us. Mark looks at the problem, tells you what it is in plain language, and gives you a price before he starts. If your water heater has a few years left in it, he’ll say so instead of selling you a new one.

Monica handles the bookkeeping and the paperwork, which keeps Mark on the tools where he’s useful. We’re licensed in California under number 1020242, and most of our work still comes from people telling their neighbors about us.
